Helen M. Beasley

Helen M. Beasley, 88, Mooresville, passed away July 15, 2018, in Franciscan Health, Mooresville. Helen was born December 9, 1929, in Shullsburg, Wisconsin, to the late Charles W. and Josephine (Mehan) Alexander.

Helen married the late Donald. R. Beasley in 1952, and he preceded her in death in 2006. She worked as a shipping clerk for Glass Container in Indianapolis for 17 years, retiring in 1985. She was a devoted member of Mt. Gilead Church and was very active at the Mooresville Senior Center as a member and hard working volunteer. She had friends at the center who were just like family to Helen. She also loved her beagles. Helen will be fondly remembered by many friends.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Charles Alexander, Gladys Alexander, Delores Sigafus.

She is survived by sisters, Vera Fisher and Rosie Dustin; brother, Tom Alexander; and special friends, Brenda Rose and Bud Miller.

Friends and family will gather Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 4 – 7 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Pastor Terry Crist will officiate the 11 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin.
