Janice Finchum

Janice Finchum, 70, Mooresville, died November 23, 2011, in Community Hospital South. Mrs. Finchum was born June 22, 1941, in Indianapolis, to the late Russell Dean and Juanita Mae (Wood) Sawyers.

Janice attended Mooresville High School and worked for Pat’s Tavern through the years. She also ran a produce stand for many summers. Janice was a member of the Mooresville American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert LeRoy Finchum; sons, Robert Dean and David Lee Finchum.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry and Terry Finchum, both of Mooresville; brother, Richard Sawyers; grandchildren, Terry, Michael, Brittany, Destiny, Kaitlyn, Haley; great grandchildren, Michael and Delilah.

Friends and family will gather on Monday, November 28, 2011, 5 to 8 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. A funeral service will not be observed.
