Jerry Dean Weaver, Jr.

Jerry Dean Weaver, Jr., 62, Plainfield, passed away November 12, 2016. Jerry was born January 21, 1954, in Linton, Indiana, to Jerry Dean Weaver, Sr. and Shirley (Heaton) Weaver, who survive.



He graduated from Beech Grove High School in 1972 and did an electrical apprenticeship with the IBEW. Jerry worked for the Allison Division of General Motors as an electrician for 33 years, retiring in 2012. He had been a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church, the Mooresville Eagles Lodge, and Local IBEW Union 933. An avid outdoorsman, Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He always looked forward to his trips to French Lick. A great dad, he was an ever present part of his children’s and grandchildren’s lives. Jerry’s memory will be cherished by his adoring wife, a loving family, and many friends.



Survivors include his wife, Terry (Parker) Weaver, to whom he was united in marriage February 10, 1973; parents, Jerry Dean, Sr. and Shirley Weaver of Beech Grove; children, Jerry Dean Weaver, III and Christy of Mooresville, Brandy Weaver Auditore and John of Plainfield, and Shane M. Weaver and Natalie Carson of Mooresville; sisters, Julie Weaver of Beech Grove and Janice Beaty and Clay of Missouri; grandchildren, Dean, Julia, Morgan, and Sydney; Parker, Joey, and John; Teddy and Skotty; great granddaughter, Karissa; many nieces and nephews.



Friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of Jerry D. Weaver, Jr. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, 4 to 8 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairfield Friends Cemetery, Camby.
