Obituary for Linda L. Haggard

Linda L. Haggard, 66, Indianapolis, passed away January 8, 2018. Linda was born April 19, 1951, in Indianapolis, to the late Billy Dairl and Mary Lucille (Bustle) Golden.

She grew up in Monrovia and graduated from Monrovia High School in 1969. It was there that she met her husband of many years, Gene Haggard. Linda worked at Target for 28 years, retiring from the Plainfield store in 2012. She enjoyed spending time with her family, music and karaoke. Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put the needs of others before her own. She had a special bond with her Pomeranian, Chloe. Linda will be fondly remembered by her loving family and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Golden.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Haggard; two daughter, Cherish (Brent) McMillen and Kelly Haggard; brother, David (Mary Jo) Golden; sisters, Susie (Kendall) Kinnaird and Judy (Kenny) Shoulders; two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Brandon Hueston; three great grandchildren, Levi, Ryker, and Ranger.

The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2018, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
