Lynda McPhee

Lynda McPhee, 64, Pittsburg, California, died in the St. Francis Hospital Emergency Room, Mooresville, while visiting family in Indiana. Lynda was born April 26, 1948, in Joliet, Illinois, to the late William and Phyllis McPhee.

She attended Mooresville High School and graduated from Monrovia High School. She moved to California at an early age and enjoyed a career there that involved working for the local and state government. She was an avid camper.

In addition to her parents, Lynda was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie McPhee.

Survivors include her sons, Jeremy Watkins (LuAnn), James Watkins, and Chris Watkins, all of California; brother, Jim McPhee of Texas; sister, Pam McPhee Greene of Wisconsin; step-grandchildren, Rickey and Matthew Johnson; a large extended family including her cousins, David and Melody McPhee of Mooresville.

A celebration of Lynda's life will be held in California on August 25, 2012, at the Ocean Cove Camp Ground, Jenna, California. Friends are invited to gather after 4 p.m. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
