Mary Dockham, 53, Indianapolis, formerly of Mooresville, died July 7, 2014. Mary was born August 18, 1961, in Portsmith, New Hampshire, to the late Edwin Eugene and Violet (Whitney) Murray.

Prior to dealing with significant health issues, Mary home schooled her sons and cared for her family. She previously attended the Church at Mt. Gilead. A selfless person, she enjoyed flowers, the outdoors, and her pets. Mary was passionate about helping others, especially those with disabilities and challenges. Above all, she enjoyed caring for her sons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Doug and Dorothy.

Survivors include her sons, Matt Dockham and Josh Dockham, both of Greenwood; siblings, Edwin and Anita; companion, Rob Black.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, July 14, 2014, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 10 a.m. Visit www.carlislebranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
