MaryAnn Puterbaugh, 67, Plainfield, died October 14, 2014, in Methodist Hospital. Maryann was born February 21, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Ernest and Genevieve (Collins) Kaufman.
She worked for the former Kendrick Hospital for more than 25 years in admitting and most recently worked part time at St. Francis Hospital in Mooresville. MaryAnn was an active member of Plainfield Christian Church where she enjoyed greeting and being a part of the most recent fundraising efforts for church expansion. She was an accomplished baker and was strongly devoted to her family. MaryAnn will be missed by a loving family and many friends.
In addition to her parents, MaryAnn was preceded in death by a brother, Bucky Kaufman and her grandmother, Elizabeth Kaufman.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Puterbaugh, to whom she was united in marriage June 12, 1965; son, David Puterbaugh (Cynthia) of Plainfield; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Williams (Mark) of Plainfield; brother, Karl Kaufman (Sharon) of Florida; sister, Roni Berstler (Al) of North Carolina; grandchildren, Whitney Williams, Duke Puterbaugh, Abigail Cordray, Kent Puterbaugh, and Wade Puterbaugh.
Friends and family will gather on Friday, October 17, 2014, 4 to 8 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The Celebration of Life will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014, in the Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Road, Plainfield.
