Patricia L. Poe

Patricia L. Poe, 80, Mooresville, passed away November 24, 2016. Mrs. Poe was born September 28, 1936, in Mooresville to the late John Harold Davis and Mildred L. Colee Vogus.

Always active in church activities, Pat was most recently a member of the Greenwood Bible Baptist Church. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary. She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and was an excellent cook, being remembered for always hosting her family for Sunday dinners. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will always be fondly remembered by her loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Poe; her step-father, John W. Vogus; a brother, Robert Davis; son-in-law, Steven Yates.

Survivors include her children, Debra Yates of Bicknell, Darrell Poe (Brenda) of Mooresville and Douglas Poe (Julie) of Greenwood; brother, Dorman Davis of Carmel; half-brothers, Charles Vogus and Ricky Vogus; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.

Friends and family will gather for visitation on Sunday, November 27, 2016, 2 to 5 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
