Betty Delores Ballard

Betty Delores Ballard, age 85, of Bloomfield, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at IU Health in Bloomington. Born December 2, 1929 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Edna (DeHoney) Wilkerson. Her husband, Edward Ballard also preceded her in death.
Betty retired in 1995 after managing Ashbury Park after 24 years. She enjoyed playing rummy & rook, crocheting and working cross word puzzles.
Survivors include her nieces, Mary Ann Hightshue (Dan) and Michelle Ballard; great nieces, Coco Farr and Melissa Krodel; and great nephew, Danny Hightshue.
Graveside services will be Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Waverly, IN. There will be no visitation.
