Betty Jean Brown
84, of Mooresville, passed away on June 13, 2021 at home, surrounded by her family. Betty was born on November 9, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky to the late Margaret Elizabeth (Hansel) and Lee Irvin Fredrick.

She was a proud wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to raising her family, she worked various jobs over the years, most recently at Nice Pak in Mooresville. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Axillary in Mooresville as well as a member of the Order of the Easter Star in Boonville. She will be missed by a loving family and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard Keith Brown; a sister Beverly Sue Collier and a brother LeRoy Fredrick.

She is survived by her daughter Debora Glidden; a brother Marvin Fredrick; a sister Joyce McFarland; grandchildren Mark Gott, Eric Gott; great grandchildren Brayden, Lauren, Belle, Kayla and Gavin.

According to her wishes, she will be cremated and no formal services will be observed. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at South Park Cemetery in Martinsville at a later date.
