Carolyn Barnes Glassburn

Carolyn Barnes Glassburn, 64, of Mooresville, died on July 16, 2012, in St. Francis Hospital, Indianaplis. She was born on August 13, 1947, in Twinton, Tennessee, to the late Alvin Barnes, Sr. and Thora (Landers) Barnes.

Mrs. Glassburn was employed at Automotive Armature for a number of years, before retiring in 1998.

She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Lee Fisher and a sister, Barb Jenkins.

Survivors include daughters, Melissa “Missy” Faulkenberg (Tommy) of Mooresville and Laura Alward of Mooresville; brother, Alvin Barnes, Jr. of Camby; grandchildren, Brandon Fisher, Clay Alward, Haley Alward, Aaron Faulkenberg, Addison Faulkenberg; great grandchild, Alexis; niece, Kimberly Michelle Madden; and a nephew, Alvin Lee Barnes.

Visitation for Carolyn will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Rev. Dave Thurman will officiate the funeral service at 11 a.m., Friday, July 20, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
