Charles W. Martin Jr.

Charles W. Martin, Jr., 82, Mooresville, died December 16, 2015, in Miller's Merry Manor, Mooresville. Mr. Martin was born April 29, 1933, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Charles W. Martin, Sr. and Laura Martin.

He graduated from the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Mr. Martin also served in the United States Army during the Korean War and had been a member of the VFW in Speedway. For many years, Mr. Martin owned and operated Martin's Pizza in Speedway. He enjoyed all kinds of sports and especially enjoyed cheering many teams with Ohio roots.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Sharon Martin.

Survivors include children, James Woodward of Indianapolis, Erik Martin of Zionsville, Andy Woodward of Mooresville, and Lija David of Kansas; seven grandchildren.
