Dixie (Lopossa) Miller
81, of Mooresville, passed away on June 3, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family. Dixie was born on June 23, 1939 in Plainfield, IN to the late Lenora (Hayworth) and Lawson Lopossa.

Dixie married the love of her life, William “Bill” Miller on January 24, 1958 and were married for over 63 years. Dixie and her daughter Ginger enjoyed attending the Senior Movies at Showtime Cinema in Mooresville. They went on several wonderful trips and cruises, she loved traveling. She always put out a big garden and canned. In her later years, she made over 60 hooked rugs by hand. Her family will remember her for her kind heart and her delicious home cooking. She will be missed by her loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Maxine Johnson.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 63 years, Bill Miller; children Ginger Sheley, Kip (Sherri) Miller; brother Raymond Lopossa and a sister Nancy (Don) Miley.

According to her wishes, she will be cremated. No formal services will be observed.
