Donna K. Pless Stewart Ross Verbosky, 80, Mooresville, died August 23, 2014. Donna was born December 26, 1933, in Bloomington, to the late Leland and Zelona Marie (Taylor) Pless.
She graduated from University High School and attended Indiana University Art School. She retired from Honeywell Home Security in 1996, after working in sales for many years. Donna was a member of the BAGGIE. She also owned and operated The Ross House in the 1970’s. Additionally, she enjoyed various crafts, including flower arranging and had taught painting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vincent J. Verbosky; son, George Stewart; step-son, Michael Verbosky; sisters, Jean Jones and Barbara Funkhouser.
Survivors include two daughters, Mindy Breeden (Danny) of Martinsville and Angela Burnett (Rusty) of Mooresville; sons, James Stewart (Jennifer Smith) of Tennessee, and Fred Stewart (Theresa) of Greenfield; sisters, Pat Weir (Buddy) of Jackson, Tennessee and Carol Harm (Robert) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August, 26, 2014, 5 to 7 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
