Doris M. Myers

Doris M. Myers, 71 of Cloverdale, passed away October 25, 2015 at Avon Health and Rehab. She was born December 21, 1943 in Cloverdale to the late Wilbur A. and Pauline L. (Way) Huber. Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Franklin D. Myers.

Doris worked at Harmon-Becker in Martinsville for many years. Above all, she enjoyed taking care of her family, was an excellent seamstress and was a fantastic cook.

Survivors include her son, Franklin W. (Kristy) Myers of Arizona; two brothers, Carroll “Goober” Huber of Cloverdale and Kent Huber of Brownsburg; her sister, Barbara Wilson of Cloverdale and six grandchildren, Haley Cheatham, Kia Myers, Kenzie Cheatham, Dalilah Myers, Hayden Myers and Franklin W. “F.J.” Myers, Jr.

A funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 30 in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville with calling there from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
