Edna Mae Bush

Edna Mae Bush, 83, Mooresville, died peacefully at home December 28, 2012. Mrs. Bush was born July 29, 1929, in Indianapolis, to the late Audrey and Lydia (Cox) Evans.

She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1947. Mrs. Bush worked at the Mooresville High School for many years, spending 20 years as a head cook and 28 years as a library aid. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading and crocheting, making many baby afghans for teachers.

Mrs. Bush was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Bush, Sr.; brother, William Evans.

Survivors include her children, Suzanne Jones of Indianapolis, Paul A. Bush, Jr. of Louisiana, Sherry Bush of Mooresville, and Lita La Bella of Colorado; brother, James Evans of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2012, in the First United Methodist Church, Mooresville, with calling there from 2 p.m. Private burial will be on Monday in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
