Forrest “Jim” Law

82, of Mooresville, passed away July 2, 2017. Jim was born on July 28, 1934 in Bradford, IL to the late Forrest Thomas Law and Mildred Jane (Perkins) Law.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife; Deloris Law, a brother; Ed Law and a sister; Letha McCarty.

Jim was a veteran of the US Air Force. After service, he worked for XL Insurance America as a Boiler and Pressure Inspector for 50 years, before retiring in December of 2016.

Jim was a Past Master of Masonic Lodge #0770 in North Canton, Ohio, a Shriner and a member of Zion Church of Christ in Indianapolis.

He is survived by his wife Shirley (Robinson) Law, son; Greg Law and his wife Anita, stepdaughter; Cathy Stoplzynski and her husband John, stepson; Tom Fisher and his wife Kelli, stepson; Joe Fisher and his wife Susan, stepson; Jack Willoughby and his wife Jo Ann, stepson; Matt Willoughby and his wife Shannon, a stepdaughter; Wendy Grubbs, sisters; Shirley Trobaugh, Carol Lou, Gloria Tonarelli, two grandchildren; Nathan and Kristen and a host of step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Jim will be held Friday July 7th at 2:00pm, with calling from 1pm until time of the service Friday in Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
