Gregg Tinsley

Gregory Scott 'Gregg' Tinsley, 39, Mooresville, died March 3, 2012. Gregg was born March 27, 1972, in Martinsville, to Burrell W. and Becky (Jamerson) Tinsley, who survive.

Gregg attended Martinsville High School and graduated from Mooresville High School. He was the owner and operator of G & M Tinsley Construction. An avid hunter, Gregg enjoyed the outdoors and spending time in nature. He was a big Indianapolis Colts fan and also liked NASCAR. Gregg's outgoing personality, fun sense of humor, and loving ways will be sorely missed by his loving family and many friends.

Gregg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Marianne Jamerson and Cecil Tinsley and Geneva Grider.

Survivors include his wife, Melanie (Baker) Tinsley, to whom he was united in marriage August 13, 1994; daughters, Haley and Taylor Tinsley; parents, Burrell and Becky Tinsley; brothers, Andy, Tony, and Joe Tinsley; sister, Jennifer Williams; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 8th, at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 7th, 2012. Cremation will follow the service at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tinsley Educational Fund, c/o Melanie Tinsley.
