Harold A. Funk

Harold A. Funk, 96, Mooresville, formerly of Kankakee, died June 20, 2012. He was born April 28, 1916, in Earl Park, Indiana to Edward and Jenny (Wetli) Funk. He married Eulalia Moser on June 10, 1944.
Harold has been a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. He worked in sales at Edward J. Funk and Sons Seed Corn for a majority of his life. In his spare time he enjoyed singing and reminiscing with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Steve and Jerry Funk.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Eulalia Funk of Mooresville; children, Gene (Joann) Funk of Ohio, Ken (Frieda) Funk of Illinois, Joe (Julie) Funk of Georgia, Marianne (John) Hawkins of Mooresville, and Dennis (Cindy) Funk of Illinois; brother, Louis “Luke” (Pat) Funk of Indianapolis; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1375 S. Mickley Ave. Arrangements are entrusted to Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. In lieu of flowers, please have a mass said at your local parish.
