Helen Kenworthy

Helen Kenworthy, 90, of Mooresville, passed away August 20, 2020. Helen was born January 6, 1930, in Mooresville, to the late Merle and Beulah Mae (Pettit) Warthen. She married the love of her life Edward Kenworthy on July 12, 1947.

Helen was a member of Mt. Gilead Church and the Lady Bugs golf group at Eagle Pines. She enjoyed being in the outdoors whether it be mowing her lawn, gardening, or planting her yearly geraniums. Her biggest joy was spending time with her loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward; a brother, Bud Warthen; and a sister, Ginny Albright.

Survivors include her son, Steve Kenworthy; 2 step-sons, Gary and Terry Kenworthy; and a grandson, Nick (Emily) Kenworthy.

Visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2020, 4 to 7 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, August, 25, 2020, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the White Lick Cemetery.
