Jackie Lee Harman

August 5, 1949 — March 19, 2022

Jackie Lee Harman
73 of Paragon, passed away on March 19, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jackie was born on August 5, 1949 in Boone, West Virginia to the late Stern Harman and Virginia Irene (Lawson) Harman.

Jackie was a bus driver for Greyhound for many years. Faith and family were very important to Jackie. He loved spending time with his family traveling to Sanibel Island, Florida, riding four wheelers with Jerry and Josh, following NASCAR, Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Hoosiers, and his beloved West Virginia Mountaineers. He also loved sharing about his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and attended the TEAM church in Lewisville. He even made a special trip to North Carolina to watch his daughter, Hope be baptized and give her life to the Lord. He will be remembered for his spunky, active, fun-loving demeanor, even though he could be strong willed or even downright stubborn at times, but always put others needs before his own. When asked how he was doing, his reply was always “Pretty good for an older feller!” He will be greatly missed by a loving family and friends.

He is survived by his children Lisa Horsley, Hope Sprinkle, Rhianna Harman, Jerry Hughes, Nikki Hughes, nephew Bobby Harman, that he raised as his son, sister Janie Harman, nieces Lethia Skyes, Angel Skyes, longtime girlfriend and companion Debra Manuel, grandchildren Shelby Knoerzer, Austin Ainscough, Lucas Heninger, Ainickin Heninger, Lainey Haught, Josh Hughes, Maddie Hughes, Jonathon Hale, great grandchildren Christian Ainscough, Alexis Durbin-Sprinkle, Faithlynn Reed, Zayden Stern-Reed, Emmaline Knoerzer, Karla Knoerzer, Elliott Heninger and his beloved dogs, Snoopette and Bo-Bo.

Jackie’s wishes were to be cremated and scattered back in his home state of West Virginia. No formal services will be observed at this time.

Final arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Please visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
