James R. Quillen
77 of Indianapolis, formerly of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2022, at his home. James was born on March 25, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Fredrick M. Quillen and Ruth (Walk) Quillen.

James was a graduate of Mooresville High School in 1963. He was instilled with a strong work ethic, remodeling homes, later obtained his real estate license to sell homes as well as founding Handicapable Camp. He was a member of the Mooresville Kiwanis and was a Boy Scout Leader for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles F. Quillen and David L. Quillen.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews and good friend and care giver, Sheila (Nelson) Vidito.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate James’ life on Thursday, August 11th from 11am- 12noon at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with memorial services beginning at 12noon Thursday in the funeral home.
