Jan Marie Baker, 40, Mooresville, died September 2, 2011, after an eight year battle with Huntington's Disease. Jan was born December 1, 1970, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

She graduated from South Dearborn High School and attended Ivy Tech, working to earn her nursing degree.

She was preceded in death by her father, Basil DeLay.

Survivors include her husband, George E. “Geb” Baker, to whom she was united in marriage Sept. 16, 1995; daughter, Georgie Baker; mother and step-father, Jeri and Larry Kinnett of Versailles; brother, Jamie DeLay of Versailles; sister, Jodie Niemeyer (John) of Florida; parents-in-law, Ralph and Gan Baker of Mooresville; sister-in-law, Beckie Schoen (Kip) of Avon; many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will gather on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, 4 to 8 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, September 8, 2011, in Fairfield Friends Meeting, 7040 S. County Rd. 1050 E., Camby. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America, Indiana Chapter, P.O. Box 2101, Indianapolis, IN 46206.
