Jeanne E. Jones

80, of Mooresville, passed away on March 8, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Jeanne was born on August 11, 1939 in Brooklyn, Indiana, to the late Max Kinder and Lorene (Foster) Kinder Squires.

Jeanne was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. A private lady, she enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, doing crossword puzzles, listening to 50’s music, watching Disney movies and cartoons. Additionally, she was a member of the Bayview Club in Mooresville. She will be greatly missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Judith Sichting and a granddaughter Tina Sloan.

She is survived by her husband Charles Jones; sons Craig (Pam) Jones, Chris (Dana) Jones, Scott (Donna) Jones, Steve (LaVonne) Jones; a brother Don (Rita) Kinder; grandchildren Crystal, Matthew, Bryan, Krisdon, Brianna, Brendon, Adam, Samantha; 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 12th from 5-8pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. No services will be observed. According to her wishes, she will be cremated following the visitation and laid to rest at Mooresville Cemetery at a later date.

It is preferred that memorial contributions be made in Jeanne’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
