Judy L. Kober

Judy L. Kober, 66, of Mooresville, passed away May 11, 2017 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis after succumbing to complications from a stroke that occurred Sunday night. Born in Marion, Indiana on December 13, 1950 Judy was the daughter of Ernest L. and Nancy (Pavone) Kelley, her parents preceded her in death.

She worked as a seamstress and baker for many years, most recently employed in the bakery at Kroger. Judy enjoyed gardening, sewing, making crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren. A loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend Judy’s memory will be cherished by her loving family and a host of friends.

Survivors include her two sons, Paul L. Kelley of Mooresville, and Joseph C. Kober of Mooresville; brother, Roger D. Kelley of Martinsville; her sister, Teresa D. (Kenneth) Shrake of Mooresville; and two grandchildren, Grace and Wyatt Kelley.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Judy L. Kober from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017 in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Waverly.
