Lois Roberta Duncan

Lois Roberta Duncan, 82, Mooresville, died February 15, 2012, in the Indiana Heart Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born November 4, 1929, in Martinsville, to the late John D. and Nelle (Plummer) Roberts.

Lois worked in the dental school as a secretary at IUPUI for fifteen years; retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Mooresville.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Smith; former husbands, Arthur Smith, and Edgar F. Duncan, Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Dennis (Barbara) Smith of Cloverdale, Edgar (Patti) Duncan, Jr.; ten grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from noon until service time. Additional calling will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Cremation will follow the service in the Morgan County Crematory.
