LuAnn Hinshaw Schalk

LuAnn Hinshaw Schalk, 55, Monrovia, died June 11, 2011. LuAnn was born November 10, 1955, in Indianapolis.

She worked for more than twenty years at Carey Digital in Customer Service and was previously employed at Queens Group. LuAnn was a member of West Union Friends Church, Monrovia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dwight Hinshaw.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Schalk, to whom she was united in marriage February 14, 1978; sons, Jake Storm (Kimberly) of Avon, Matt Storm (Misty) of Louisville, and Jonathan Schalk (Heather Uhls) of Mooresville; mother, Jean Hinshaw of Monrovia; brother, Judd Hinshaw of Monrovia; sisters, Donna Dolen of Mooresville, Nancy Hinshaw of Florida, Judy Will of Mooresville, and Lynn Kempf of Avon; her adored grandchildren, Amber Schalk, Deacon, Gavin, and Madilyn Storm.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, Monrovia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Perpetual Care Fund at West Union Church Cemetery.
