Margaret E. Jones

Margaret E. Kenworthy Jones, 91, lifelong Mooresville resident, died peacefully at home on March 2, 2013. Mrs. Jones was born April 8, 1921, in Mooresville, to the late Roscoe and Fannie (Cordray) Kenworthy.

Mrs. Jones was a proud homemaker and a devoted member of Eternal Life Baptist Church.

In additional to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Neal Jones; nieces, Theresa Eisenhower and Mary Elizabeth Kenworthy.

Survivors include one brother, Charles Roscoe Kenworthy of Mooresville and her sister, Eva Sellars of Mooresville; nieces and nephews, Raymond Kenworthy, Edwin Kenworthy , Scott Kenworthy, Melissa Kenworthy, Kimberly Chandler, and Charles Eugene Kenworthy; Gloria Robinson, Viola Robinson, Cindy Cook, Mark McDaniel, Bruce McDaniel, and Rusty Sellars; a host of great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2013. Rev. Don Endsley will officiate and burial will be in the Mooresville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
