Mary L. McIntire
82, of Mooresville, passed away November 9, 2020 at I.U. West Hospital in Avon. Mary was born January 11, 1938 in Mackey, IN to the late Valma (Lamey) and Irvin Sunderman.

Mary worked as an administrative assistant for Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Service and also as a cake decorator for Kroger’s. A strong, courageous, independent woman, she raised five children on her own, often working two and three jobs to provide for her family. She enjoyed and valued the outdoors, the farm life and gardening. So, it was no surprise that her favorite television show was the Walton’s, that displayed those same values, of family, hard work and country life. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Sunderman.

Survivors include her daughters, LaDonna McIntire; Connie Wood, Susie Rexing; sons Gary McIntire, Tim McIntire; sister Shirley Barnard, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Mary’s life on Monday, March 29th from 5-7pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with a memorial service beginning at 7pm in the funeral home.
