90, of Mooresville passed away on July 12, 2019 at The Springs of Mooresville. Mary Rose was born on August 24, 1928 to the late Vernard and Lorna (Ogle) Walker in Mooresville, IN.

Mary Rose graduated from Purdue University in 1950. Upon graduation, she embarked on a long career as a buyer for L.S. Ayers and Company for 38 years, before retiring. In retirement, she was a caregiver for her mother when she became ill. Mary Rose was known for her strong will, her humor, her positive attitude and “a tell it like it was” spirit. She was also a longtime member of the Mooresville Church of Christ. She never met a stranger, and if you were a friend, you quickly became family. She was well known around Mooresville by many and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her cousins Linda Frye and her husband Willard, Steve Walker, Gary Walker, Brenda Susemichel, DeAnn Heinekamp and a host of close friends she considered her family.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 16th at 11am in Mooresville Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her mother.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary Rose’s memory to the donor’s favorite charity.
