Michael W. Bayse

Michael W. Bayse, 66, of Plainfield, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 in the comfort of his home. Born January 23, 1950 in Indianapolis, Michael was the son of Norman N. and Margaret P. (Mintus) Bayse; his parents preceded him in death. On September 6, 1988 he was united in marriage to his loving wife, Teresa Bayse and she survives.

Michael worked on the railroad for 13 years and in construction for Kim Snodgrass Company. He enjoyed playing sports, including basketball, running track, snow and water skiing. He loved spending time outdoors and gardening. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Airforce; he was a member of the American Legion in Danville and the VFW.

Survivors include his loving wife, Teresa; two sons, James D. (Tara) Bayse of Indianapolis and Dane L. (April) Wheeler of Indianapolis; his brother, Robert N. Bayse of Clayton; his maltese, Abby and cat, Beau.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Michael W. Bayse on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. The memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
