Millard “Louis” David
85, of Monrovia, passed away May 8, 2018 at his home. Louis was born on July 9, 1932 in Morgan County, Indiana to the late William O. David and Genevieve (Murphy) David.
Louis was a hardworking, humble, thrifty man who worked as a heavy equipment operator and owned David and Son service station for many years before retiring. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, watching Western movies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter; Jacqueline Lee.
He is survived by his wife; Toni Fiscus, sons; Richard Louis David of Indianapolis, Gregory John David of Mooresville, daughters; Suzie (Bill) Annette Haegele of Sulfur, IN, Linda Lou Russell of Brooklyn, Skyler Makenzie Kent of Mooresville, stepson; Eric Shane Smith of Monrovia, stepdaughters; Joni Ann Smith, Kimberly Jan Smith of Mooresville, 12 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.
A gathering in celebration of Louis' life will be held Saturday from 9am-11am at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with a memorial service at 11am. Inurnment will be private.
