Nicki Jensen

Kristin N. (Nicki) Jensen, age 44, passed away and went home to the Lord, December 4, 2013. Nicki was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and niece, and a caregiver her whole adult life even up to the day she passed on. Very few people really knew the “real” Nicki, but those who did saw a beautiful, caring, heart of gold person like no one else. She suffered so greatly and lived in pain every day for the last 12 years of her life. But now she will not be in severe pain, suffer, or mourn for the loss of so many loved ones, especially her father. She was loved by a man and loved him dearly for almost 25 years. I, her mom, am writing this obituary because there was absolutely nothing we not know, share, or suffer together up to the evening she passed on. We will all; family, friends, and animal lovers miss her beautiful self forever. Nicki was and always will be, well, Nicki.

Nicki graduated from Mooresville High School in 1987. While in high school, she was a member of Spotlighters and also the Indiana Paint Horse Association. In addition, Nicki enjoyed crafts, crocheting, gardening, and caring for her dogs.

Nicki was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Edward Jensen; uncle, Randy Ritchey; beloved dog, Bebe; grandmother, Eloise Ritchey; grandparents, Bob and Laura Jensen.

Survivors include her mother, Barb Jensen; life partner, Kirk Witt; sister, Jeanne Halik (Frank) of Cicero; niece and nephews, Jacob Michael; Lily, and Greyson Halik; aunt and uncle, Don and Vickie Ritchey; beloved dog, Miley.

The memorial service will begin at 7 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2013, in the Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 3 p.m. Cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville.
