Orland L. Cyphers

40, of Mooresville, passed away on June 6, 2022 in Tennessee. Orland was a graduate of Cloverdale High School. He loved the outdoors and was happiest when camping, fishing and hiking. He worked for American Construction & Excavating (ACE) for over 15 years and loved going to work. He treated his colleagues as they were his very own family and never met a stranger. He also was in his element at any local dirt track watching his friends race Sprint Cars! He loved Bog Trucks and always got a kick out of “Whistlindiesel” on YouTube. Orland felt lucky and blessed while spending time with his children and grandkids especially since he worked out-of-state often. He spent time visiting his family at Dale Hollow and always got some fishing in during these trips. He loved a good steak dinner and would tell the waitress “I just need 2 beers with my steak, just 2”. He was goofy, had a great sense of humor, outgoing and practical joker.

Orland is survived by his loving wife of 5 years; Michelle Cyphers, children; Cecilia Cyphers, Taylor (Gabe Featherston) Cumming, Tyler (Kalie Wallace) Slaven, grandchildren; Aleah, Paislee, Sophia, Blakely and Waylon, mother; Angela Cyphers, siblings; Jesse (Connie) Cyphers and Regina (Wesley) Garrison, along with nieces and nephews; Haley, Chase, Gavin, Braxton, Brookelynn, Kole and Kinleigh.

Orland is preceded in death by his father; Orland L. Cyphers Jr., Grandmother; Barbara Mathias, Aunt; Melinda Kenworthy, uncles; Danny and Harold, along with his best friend; Jeremie (Ogre) Hilbert.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral Services will be immediately following at 7:00pm.
