Robert Dale Harris

Robert Dale Harris, age 67, of Mooresville, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Born September 25, 1946 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, he was the son of the late Harry and Frances (Remster) Harris.
Robert was a school teacher for 33 years, retiring in 2002. He taught health and physical education at Beech Grove High School where he also coached the boys’ basketball team. He loved to golf, fish, and watch Jeopardy. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Christian Church and the BPOE #2186 in Plainfield.
Survivors include his wife, Jayne (Haymaker) Harris; his son, Timothy Harris; his daughter, Lynsey (Nick) Lamatrice; his brother, Charles Harris; and his mother in law, Martha Lou Haymaker.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with calling from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
