Robert Wayne Turner

Robert Wayne Turner, 60, Mooresville, died January 24, 2012, in the Emergency Room at St. Francis Hospital, Mooresville. Mr. Turner was born July 12, 1951, in Kentucky, to the late Robert and Effie (Strode) Turner.

He worked in the coal mines in Kentucky and attended the West Newton Worship Center.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by brothers, Earl 'Sonny' Bryant and James 'Roll' Bryant; sister, Oma Lee Jeannette and her husband, Robert.

Survivors include a daughter, Tonya Reynolds, of Tennessee; brother, Claude 'Junior' Davis of Georgia; grandson, Dylan Wayne Lynch; companion, Cathy Foley and her son, Steven.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2012, at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 11 a.m. Pastor David Payton will officiate.
