Roger Edgar Harvey

March 20, 1942 — May 13, 2012

Roger Edgar Harvey, 70, Mooresville, died May 13, 2012, in St. Francis Hospital, Mooresville. Mr. Harvey was born March 20, 1942, in Indianapolis, to the late Edgar Kenneth and Gayle (Stafford) Harvey.

A 1960 graduate of Ben Davis High School, Mr. Harvey was the owner and operator of Harvey’s Bait and Tackle and Harvey’s Mobile Home Park. More recently, he was the co-owner of Country Breeze Pet Resort, Mooresville. He also was a breeder of champion Shar-Pei dogs. Mr. Harvey loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by one son, Roger E. Harvey, Jr.

Survivors include his daughters, Dawn Horth (Tim) of Zionsville and Scarllett Hood (Billy) of Mooresville; brother, David Harvey (Patricia) of Florida; companion, Robbin Adams of Mooresville; grandchildren, Brittany and Logan Hood; Madison and Lincoln Horth.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
