Shawn Patrick Finnerty

Shawn Patrick Finnerty, 55, Mooresville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on March 22, 2012. He was born on June 21, 1956, in Indianapolis, to John J. and Margaret (Glennon) Finnerty.

Shawn graduated from Cardinal Ritter High School in 1974. He married Sheryl Lynn Tyler, daughter of Jim and Betty Tyler, in 1991. Since 1989, he has worked for Micro Air, Inc.

Shawn was preceded in death by a sister, Karen. He is already missed by his brothers and sisters, Michael (Colleen K. Bidwell), James (Nancy Adams), Kathleen (Harold) Keller, Maureen (Joseph) Knapp, Dennis and Bridget (Glen) Adams. He was the beloved uncle of 19 nieces and nephews.

A buffet and informal celebration of life will be held in Shawn’s honor from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., on Saturday, March 31, 2012, in Martha’s Orchard, 6578 S. County Road 400 East, Clayton.
