Sherry K. Grubb

Sherry K. Grubb, 55 of Mooresville, passed away September 1, 2016 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. She was born August 17, 1961 in Indianapolis to the late Charles J. and Gladys Jean (Poynter) Ely.

Sherry proudly worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Miller’s Merry Manor in Mooresville and at Worthington Place in Camby for many years. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, camping, NASCAR and, most recently, crocheting. Most of all, Sherry loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis Ely, Steve West and Bob West.

Survivors include her daughter, Chyenne D. (Jeffrey Meyer) Shannon of Mooresville; her son, Dennis Grubb of Mooresville; brother, Mike West of California; her “sister,” Lisa Kopetsky; four grandchildren, Austin Shannon, Madisyn Meyer, Zachery Meyer and Nevaeh Grubb and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life Sherry K. Grubb on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville.
