Tina Banks

Tina Banks, 47, Monrovia, died May 18, 2011, in the Emergency Room at Clarian West Hospital. Tina was born December 28, 1963, in Hendricks County.

Tina graduated from Plainfield High School in 1982. She worked for Dairyland in Monrovia for a number of years. She was a proud homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. Tina loved keeping in touch with friends on Facebook and also enjoyed camping and fishing with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Souders.

Survivors include husband, Alan Jay Banks, to whom she was united in marriage March 16, 1983; mother, Yona (Dicoff) Souders of Plainfield; daughters, Amanda Mendoza of Monrovia, Candie Harris (Sean) of Indianapolis, Alicia Banks of Indianapolis; sister, Terri Patterson of Plainfield; grandchildren, Christian, Brayden, Sierra, Paul, and Ariana; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Banks of Monrovia.

The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2011. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
