Anthony Robert Williams

Anthony Robert Williams, 78, of Mooresville, passed away August 15, 2020 at IU Health West Hospital. Anthony was born August 6, 1942, in Indianapolis, to the late Francis Marion and Margaret Mary (Brosey) Williams. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Joellen Crays, on May 8, 1976.

Anthony proudly served in the United States Army as an Infantry Sargent. He worked many years at Precision Products Tool and Die as a designer. Anthony was a member of Camby Community Church, North – South Skirmish Association, National Rifle Association (life time member), and Tri – County Coone Hunters Association. He enjoyed competitive shooting with civil war rifles. Anthony had a soft heart when it came to dogs. The biggest joy to his life was his family especially spending time with his grandchildren. Anthony is greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Peacher.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Joellen Williams, daughters, Kelly (Juan) Alcala of Camby and Amy (Jeremy) Stierwalt of Parrish, Florida ; a brother, Vincent Williams of Maine; grandchildren, Keith Payne, Connor Alcala, Alex Alcala, Ava Alcala, Luke Stierwalt, Noel Stierwalt, and Ella Jo Stierwalt.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2020, 5 to 8 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August, 19, 2020, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the White Lick Cemetery. Per family’s request, masks are required.
