Barbara L. Barrow

74, of Mooresville, passed away on October 7, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Mooresville. Barb was born on July 30, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Lowell H. Shockley and Kathryn L. (Jenkins) Simpson.

Barb was a graduate of Mooresville High School in 1967. Barb loved animals, so being a veterinary technician was the perfect career for her. In addition to her love of animals, she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to the beach to see the ocean as well as reading romance and disaster novels.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Donnie Shockley.

She is survived by her husband Tim Barrow; daughter Angela Evans (Barry); son Adam Worsham (Denese); brother Larry Simpson; sister Judy Patton; grandchildren Denise, Emily, Kaitlyn, Brook, Amy, Genevieve, great grandchildren Skirynn, Bell, Cadin, Raya, Raylynn, and Rayonna.

Family and friends will gather for Barb’s Life Celebration® visitation on Thursday, October 12^th from 10am-12noon at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory Mooresville. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 12^th at 12:30pm at IOOF Cemetery, Waverly.
