Brenda Sue Adams

 78, of Plainfield, passed away on June 24, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Brenda was born on May 26, 1946 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Jacob Adams and Minnie (Johnson) Adams.

Brenda grew up in Kentucky and was a graduate of Whitesburg High School in Whitesburg, KY. It was there she met and fell in love with her devoted husband Ron. Together, they would have celebrated 56 years of marriage in August. Brenda worked as a hospice nurse for Franciscan Health for 15 years, before retiring. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them, especially her grandkids. She also enjoyed traveling out west with her husband Ron to see all the beautiful sites including Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Jacob Jr, Jimmy, Evelyn, Jean, and Ann.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Adams; sons Scott Adams (Amy), Jonathan Adams (Charlotte); sisters Jackie and Gerri; grandchildren Trenton, Tayler, Parker, Sophia, Lily and great granddaughter Mia, who will all miss her dearly. Services are private.
