Bryan C. Burgess

40 of Mooresville, passed away on January 11, 2024. Bryan was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1983 in New York, New York to the late Kenneth Burgess and Mary Ann (Ballesty) Burgess, who survives.

Bryan earned a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University in Connecticut. He worked as an electrical engineer and was a manager in manufacturing design for many years. He was a member of the Babylon Lodge in New York, and enjoyed watching NASCAR, cheering on his favorite driver, Kyle Busch. However, his children were the light of his life and loved spending time with them. He will be remembered as a great cook and a foodie, who was passionate about his kids, justice and doing things the right way.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel (Putnam) Burgess; children Everett Burgess, Noelle Burgess, Henry Burgess; mother MaryAnn Burgess, and sister Kelly Rosa.

In keeping with Bryan’s wishes, he will be cremated and his ashes will be spread in the Grand Canyon.
