Clarence F. Harrington, 85, of Mooresville, passed away at home on December 24, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born in Bloomington on March 5, 1938, to the late Hubert and Mary (Evans) Harrington. Clarence attended Decatur Central schools. He married the love of his life, Vivian Balz, in 1957. Clarence was an electrician for many years and also worked as a material handler for Nice-Pak in Mooresville.

Clarence thoroughly enjoyed racing motorcycles throughout the Midwest, having been part of several clubs. He also loved bowling, camping and hiking at McCormick’s Creek with his family. Clarence was a social butterfly who never met a stranger, and he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Clarence is preceded in death by his brother, Tom Harrington. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Vivian Harrington; son, Kevin (Tamara) Harrington; daughters, Vicky Eggert and Laurie (Norman Johnson) Taylor; brother, Delbert (Colleen) Harrington; sister, LaDonna Johnson; sister-in-law, Linda Harrington; grandchildren, Ashley (Rick) Lebo, Derek (Debra) Burkett, Paigelynn Taylor, Dayton (Brea) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Mathew, Anthony, Chloe, Donnelley, and Trinity.
