Frank "C.J." Dowell, III

Frank "C.J." Dowell, 21, Mooresville, died April 30, 2023.  C.J. was born February 27, 2002, in Mooresville to the late Frank Dowell, II and Ashley Poe, who survives.  

C.J. graduated from Mooresville High School.  He loved music, nature, art, and spending time with his family and friends.  C.J.'s memory will be forever cherished by his loving family and friends.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Ashley Poe and Todd Johnson; siblings, Marissa Dowell, Johnathon Dowell, Ariahna Johnson, Bryson Poe, and Jay Johnson; maternal grandparents, Brenda and Darrell Poe; paternal grandparents, Diana Hardman-Edge and Frank Dowell Sr.
