George Herbert Perry

Mooresville, Indiana - George Herbert Perry, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, at his home He was born on November 23, 1945, to Floyd and Ruth (Dorsett) Perry here in Mooresville. He was 76 years old.

George held many titles in his life; father, farmer, truck driver, and equipment operator. However, in his heart he always wanted to go back to farming.

His favorite pastimes were TV westerns, listening to country music, working in his garden, and riding his lawn mower to tend to his yard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Ruth (Dorsett) Perry and his sister Nancy (Perry) Griffith.

He is survived by his sons, James Floyd Perry (Kammie) and Kenneth Herbert Perry; daughter Amy Ann (Perry) Belcher (Dean); brothers Floyd Hubert Perry and Dennis Perry; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 1:00pm at Mooresville Cemetery.
