Iris Eileen Coen

80, of Plainfield, passed away on March 23, 2023 at Hendricks Regional Hospital in Danville. Iris was born on May 15, 1942 in Sullivan County, Indiana to the late Quinten E. Cleveland and Dorothy (Booker) Pirtle.

Family was everything to Iris. She loved spending time with her family as well as knitting and watching NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. In her younger years, she sold Avon Cosmetics, worked for Ambassador Card Company, and most recently worked as an associate for Adesa Car Auctions in Plainfield.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Phil Coen, sister Norma Phegley and a grandson Jimmy Duncan.

She is survived by her daughter Stacey Stephens (Bruce), sons Brad Coen, Brian Coen (Mindy), 4 grandchildren Tyler Coen, Shaelynn Coen, Brandon Stephens, Jamie Adams and 2 great grandchildren Ryan Adams and Vincent Adams.

Services will be held privately at a later date.
