Jeannine Young of Buffalo, MN
 December 16, 1928 – April 28, 2024

Preceded in death by her parents, William M. Young and Hazel L. Young (nee Williams) and her brother, William Young. She leaves behind her four children: Thomas N. Frenzel (Kathleen), William W. Frenzel (Bonnie), Bradley J. Frenzel, Joyce Randall Senechal (Alan). Her grandchildren: Jason, Nick, Scott, John, Nicole, Jennifer, Joshua, Josef, Kelly, Alex, Megan along with 14 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Jeannine was born in Chicago and grew up in Oak Lawn, IL. She and husband, Thomas Frenzel raised their four children in early Park Forest, IL.  She fondly remembered her childhood summers spent in small town, Brooklyn, IN with her grandparents and cousins.

For many years, Jeannine was a print and runway model. She enjoyed acting and appeared in many plays and tv commercials. She also did voiceover work for M&M Mars and narrated children’s audio books.  Among her many plays, she was Miss Daisy in a dinner theater production of Driving Miss Daisy.

When she wasn’t acting or modeling, she worked in the restaurant business starting as a waitress and ascended to Sales and Catering Manager for McCormick Place in Chicago.

Education was important to Jeannine as she earned her G.E.D. at 74 and went on to take college art courses at Kankakee Community College. She explored many genres of art and was a very talented painter and illustrator.

She loved her home in Momence, IL on the banks of the Kankakee River, where she lived for many of her later years.

Anyone who knew Jeannine, loved her charm, sense of humor and wonderful stories. She was easy-going and fun to be around.  A country gal at heart.

Special appreciation goes to the caring staff at The Glenn Buffalo Memory Care and Brighton Hospice.

Jeannine will be interred in a private ceremony in Brooklyn, Indiana.
