Judy J. Perry

Judy J. Perry, 82, Mooresville, passed away July 23, 2020. Mrs. Perry was born October 3, 1937, in Indianapolis. She married Donald M. Perry on June 20, 1953, and they recently celebrated their 68th anniversary.

Judy worked for many years as a hairdresser in Mooresville and also was a realtor. A member of Town Center Church, she was also a part of the Gideons Auxiliary. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and was on several leagues. She also enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Judy was a quiet and reserved person who was very intelligent and will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Audrey Hines and one sister, Anita McQueen.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Don; daughter, Jeanie (Rick) Overton; son, Donnie (Arlene) Perry; grandchildren, Brandi (Todd) Ramey, Alicia (Chad) Richhart, and Nick Perry and; great grandchildren, Eli Ramey and Hunter Richhart; step-grandchild, Crystal (Eric) Rogers; step-great grandchildren, Makenzie, Tayla, Cole, Tyler.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2020, 4 to 8 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at the funeral home. Longtime family friend, Pastor Robert Cohee will officiate, and burial will be in White Lick Cemetery.
